When Sky Meets Home is a dual-POV contemporary romance that follows Olivia, a young bi-racial woman who travels to Lagos in search of her biological mother, stepping into a city that feels both unfamiliar and strangely intimate. Alongside her journey is Mide, a guarded Nigerian man returning home after years abroad, carrying his own history, grief, and resistance to connection. Their paths cross in unexpected ways, setting both of them on a collision course with questions they have long avoided.
Set against the layered backdrop of Lagos, the story explores identity, family, love, and the tension between who we were and who we are becoming. As Olivia and Mide navigate their separate searches for meaning, their lives begin to intertwine in ways that challenge everything they thought they understood about home, belonging, and healing.
